Our store sells both new popular household items and vintage items that have been cherished here in Sweden. The vintage items comes with their blemishes after passing through many hands but that is what makes them charming.💛
The name of the store, Kattegatt, is the name of a sea in Scandinavia. The meaning of the name is “cat’s hole (small entrance)”.🐈 It expresses our desire to connect with the world through a small entrance.

✱About selling price✱
The selling price is the amount shown (including consumption tax). The shipping fee will be charged separately. （If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Please see below for details.)

We accept credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers.

✱Shipping Information✱
All items will be shipped from Sweden. Please note that due to the pandemic, shipping may take longer than usual.

✱About shipping
The shipping cost is based on the “total weight” including packing materials.
Up to 500g 1,000 yen
Up to 1kg 1,500yen
Up to 2kg 2,000 yen
There is no compensation for the above shipping methods.
Please choose the shipping method with tracking and compensation (insurance) (+1000) or without compensation at the time of payment.

About the “Plus One” ✱ Value Products
If you are paying for 1kg shipping but the total weight is 550g, you can still get another 450g in the package, but it would be a waste.
We offer a wide variety of Swedish snacks and small goods at reasonable prices. Some of the items do not come in a choice of colors and patterns, so you will have to wait until you receive them.

We use recycled packing materials for the outer box for eco-friendly reasons. We ask for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
We also offer free gift wrapping. In this case, please select either “for gift” or “for yourself” on the product page before adding to the cart.

About ✱Shipping✱
If you purchase multiple items and wish to have them shipped together, the shipping cost will be deducted from the total weight. The weight of each item is listed here for your reference. Depending on the weight of the item, its packaging material and the size of the box, a small item may weigh 300g and a large item may weigh 500g.

Shipping cost for items over 2kg is
Up to 3kg: 5,500 yen
Up to 4kg: 6,600 yen
Up to 5kg: 7,700 yen
The shipping fee is 5,500 yen. All shipments are tracked and compensated.

If the package fits in the box specified by the Swedish Post Office (520 x 320 x 115 mm), we charge
Up to 5kg 5,000 yen
Up to 20kg. 7,500 yen
This also includes tracking and compensation.

✱Instructions for refunding a package✱
If you are paying by PayPal or credit card
You will need to pay for the shipping fee first. After that, we will refund you the difference. You will be notified of the refund amount by e-mail after your purchase. If you do not receive the email, please contact us. ⇒[email protected]

If you are paying by bank transfer
We will inform you of the price after the deduction by e-mail, please transfer the changed amount.

✱Return policy✱
Please note that most of our items are vintage and one-of-a-kind, so we do not accept returns or exchanges. Although we have noted any noticeable damage, there may be minor scratches, small stains, or peeling glaze due to age that we cannot specify. We hope you understand that this is a vintage look. If there are any damages or defects other than those mentioned in the item description, please contact us by email.

In the following cases, we will not accept returns.
Products that have been damaged by the customer.
If the item is damaged in transit, the post office will not provide documentation.
Products that have not been returned within 7 days of delivery.
Food products
Products that have been used once.
Items with tags, stickers, etc. removed.

✱ Time of delivery of products
We will ship the item within 5 days of receiving your delivery request and payment. Please email us if you are in a hurry. You will be notified by email after shipment. Please allow 2 weeks for the item to reach you.
If you do not receive your order within 3 weeks of receiving the shipping notice, please contact us by email. Please note that we are not responsible for any loss of goods if you have not applied for compensation. If special time is required for delivery (e.g. orders during seasonal holidays), we will contact you by e-mail in advance.
